Arsenal are in
advanced negotiations with Adidas for the German sportswear brand to
become the club’s new kit manufacturer, according to reports.
The Gunners’ current deal with Puma is due to expire at the end of next season and the club are speaking to various companies about taking up the contract.
That would be a significant upgrade on the current £30m deal Arsenal have with Puma.
If the deal is agreed it would be among the biggest in the Premier League, however it would still fall some way short of the £75m Adidas pay Manchester United and the £60m Chelsea receive from Nike per season.
Their participation in the Champions League would likely boost the value of any deal.
