Arsenal frontman
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he is considering bringing
back his Spider-Man goal celebration if he scores against Tottenham in
the north London derby.
The 29-year-old has donned the masks of superheroes after scoring at previous clubs Borussia Dortmund and Saint-Etienne, though he has yet to do it since joining Arsenal last January.
But a goal in the north London derby against Arsenal’s fiercest rivals could be the special occasion he’s been waiting for to bring back his iconic celebration.
‘We’ll see, it depends on my mood,’ Aubameyang told Sky Sports ahead of Sunday’s clash at the Emirates.
‘I remember a derby when I took the Batman mask in Dortmund, I had the idea in the morning. I called my cousin and said, “OK, go buy this mask”.
