Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang showed his class both on and off the pitch as Arsenal eased to a 3-0 victory over Stoke.
After a goalless first half in which Arsenal failed to click into gear, Aubameyang gave the Gunners the lead from the penalty spot in the 75th minute at The Emirates.
The January signing from Borussia Dortmund then added a second goal to make it 2-0 in the 86th minute with a cool finish.
Rather than go for his hat-trick, though, Aubameyang unselfishly allowed Lacazette to take the penalty and Frenchman made no mistake to give the Gunners a three-goal advantage.
Asked about his decision, Aubameyang explained: ‘Of course I know that Laca[zette] is back and I think I score twice so I can let him shoot, it’s normal.
‘It’s good for his confidence so that’s why.’
