Arsenal have confirmed that Stephan Lichtsteiner has joined the club on a free transfer.
Lichtsteiner made 257 appearances for Juventus since his debut back in 2011 but the 34-year-old came to the end of his contract in Turin this summer.
The Swiss right-back jetted into England last week to visit Arsenal’s London Colney training complex and held positive talks over a free transfer to the Emirates.
Unai Emery was determined to bring in cover for Hector Bellerin at right-back and Lichtsteiner adds some much-needed experience to Arsenal’s squad.
