Arsenal ‘agree to sign goalkeeping coach Javi Garcia from PSG’ as Unai Emery brings in own staff

ARSENAL have agreed to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeping coach Javi Garcia, as Unai Emery brings in own backroom staff, according to reports in France.

Garcia is highly rated in the French capital and appears set to follow Emery to North London.

The pair have been together for years, having first worked at Sevilla, with French outlet RMC confirming the move has happened.

Coach Garcia is said to have been the man behind PSG No1's Alphonse Areola's dramatic upturn in form last season.

Areola usurped Kevin Trapp to become the Parisien's first option last season and is now being chased by a host of European giants, including Chelsea.
